Story Hour Saturday!
11 am to 12 pm; Free

Come visit the beautiful Elgin Public Museum for our brand new children's program, held every first Saturday of the month. Kids will spend a fun and relaxing hour with our educators, listening to fantastic stories about animals- a different one every month! This month's topic are those little backyard bandits- Raccoons! There is no charge for this program, but donations are always welcome. We hope to see you there!

Snack Science Night
6-8 pm, $2, members free

Explore, taste and discover at November's yummy Science Night! Bring your family and dig into the science of food. Different stations will be set up around the Museum for kids and their parents to conduct experiments and see demonstrations, including the science behind butter making and how the nose tastes food.

Saturday, November 25

Bison Feeding
7-8:30 AM, Fee: $2/Adult, $1/Child, Members Free

CJoin us for an up close and personal look at the bison, deer and elk at the Lords Park Zoo. Meet at the Museum for a short introduction after which we head for the zoo to assist the zookeeper in feeding these magnificent creatures. Space is limited to 12 people, so please register early!
