The Irish deer mount is the prize of our collection; part of George P. Lord’s original collection, which he first displayed at the park Pavilion in the 1890’s. After roaming the plains of Northern Europe for over 40,000 years, this ice age mammal became extinct over 7,000 years ago.

Our Irish deer is supplemented with mounts of American bison, deer, elk, moose, pronghorn antelope and many African mammals.
